It's still a bit hot in the valley so we went back up to Sedona to do the Jim Thompson Trail. Named for the first non-native settler of Sedona it has what all trails around the area have; great scenery. Following it will take you to the Midgley Bridge in Oak Creek Canyon. You can also extend your hike by taking a left at the fork and going to Wilson Canyon. Whatever you choose, it's a really nice way to spend a few hours.
